Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (13.8 oz) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Fold in the diced strawberries.
- Step 3: Unroll the cinnamon roll dough and spread the strawberry cream cheese mixture evenly over each roll. Re-roll the dough tightly and cut into individual rolls.
- Step 4: Place the rolls in the prepared baking dish and brush with melted butter.
- Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Step 6: While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Once the rolls are slightly cooled, drizzle with the glaze and serve.
Notes
- Store leftover rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For a warm and gooey treat, microwave individual rolls for 15-20 seconds before serving.
- Garnish with extra fresh strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar for a picture-perfect presentation.
- Don't overfill the rolls with the strawberry cream cheese filling, or it will ooze out during baking; a thin, even layer is best.
