Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until evenly coated.
- Step 3: Spread the cauliflower florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they aren't overcrowded; you may need to use two baking sheets.
- Step 4: Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and golden brown, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Step 5: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. You can serve it as a side dish or as part of a larger meal.
Notes
- Store leftover crispy cauliflower in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently in a skillet over medium heat for optimal crispiness, avoiding the microwave which can make it soggy.
- Serve this vibrant cauliflower alongside grilled meats, hearty salads, or as a delicious topping for bowls.
- For extra smoky flavour, consider adding a pinch of chipotle powder along with the smoked paprika.
