Delicious cheeseburger quesadillas recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Ground beef, 1 pound
  • Taco seasoning, 1 packet (1 ounce)
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded, 2 cups
  • Flour tortillas, 8-inch, 6 count
  • Onion, finely chopped, 1/2 cup
  • Dill pickle slices, chopped, 1/2 cup
  • Ketchup, for dipping, as needed

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Step 2: Stir in the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed.
  3. Step 3: Spread half of the ground beef mixture on one half of each tortilla.
  4. Step 4: Sprinkle evenly with cheddar cheese, chopped onion and chopped pickle slices.
  5. Step 5: Fold the tortillas in half to form quesadillas.
  6. Step 6: Cook in a lightly oiled skillet or on a griddle over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Serve immediately with ketchup for dipping.

Notes

  • To prevent soggy quesadillas, store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat within 2 days.
  • For a crispier reheat, try using a dry skillet or air fryer instead of the microwave.
  • Serve these quesadillas with a side of seasoned fries or a simple coleslaw for a complete meal.
  • Don't overcrowd the skillet when cooking; work in batches to ensure even browning and prevent sticking.
