Ingredients
- Salmon fillets, skin on or off: 4 (6-8 oz each)
- Butter, unsalted: 4 tablespoons, divided
- Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
- Lemon juice, fresh: 2 tablespoons
- Dijon mustard: 1 tablespoon
- Brown sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Paprika: 1 teaspoon
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the microwave. Stir in the minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Step 3: Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
- Step 4: Cut the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter into small pats and place a pat on top of each salmon fillet.
- Step 5: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
