Ingredients
- All-purpose flour: 1 1/2 cups
- Unsalted butter, softened: 1/2 cup (1 stick)
- Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup
- Brown sugar, packed: 1/2 cup
- Large egg: 1
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk chocolate bars: 6 (standard size)
- Marshmallow fluff: 1 jar (7 oz)
- Graham crackers: 8 whole crackers, broken into pieces
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Step 4: Press half of the cookie dough into the prepared baking pan. Top with the milk chocolate bars, breaking them as needed to cover the entire surface. Spread the marshmallow fluff evenly over the chocolate. Sprinkle the graham cracker pieces evenly over the marshmallow fluff.
- Step 5: Crumble the remaining cookie dough over the graham crackers. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Step 6: Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days to keep them soft and chewy.
- For extra gooeyness, microwave individual bars for 10-15 seconds before serving.
- Serve these bars with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra decadent treat.
- Chef's tip: For easier crumbling, chill the remaining cookie dough for 15 minutes before topping the bars!
