- 1 (1 ounce) envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth (optional, for added moisture)
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the cubed potatoes, melted butter, olive oil, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure the potatoes are evenly coated.
- Step 2: Transfer the potato mixture to a slow cooker.
- Step 3: If desired, add 1/4 cup of chicken broth to the bottom of the slow cooker for extra moisture.
- Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the potatoes are tender and easily pierced with a fork.
- Step 5: Once cooked, give the potatoes a gentle stir before serving. Taste and add salt and pepper if needed.
