Ingredients
- Frozen potstickers (gyoza): 24 pieces
- Mixed salad greens: 6 cups
- Shredded carrots: 1 cup
- Sliced cucumber: 1 cup
- Red cabbage, shredded: 1/2 cup
- Green onions, thinly sliced: 1/4 cup
- Sesame seeds: 1 tablespoon
- Sesame ginger dressing: 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the potstickers according to package directions. This usually involves pan-frying them until golden brown on the bottom, then steaming them with a little water in the pan until cooked through.
- Step 2: While the potstickers are cooking, prepare the salad by combining the mixed greens, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, and shredded red cabbage in a large bowl.
- Step 3: Once the potstickers are cooked, remove them from the pan and let them cool slightly.
- Step 4: Add the cooked potstickers to the salad bowl.
- Step 5: Pour the sesame ginger dressing over the salad and gently toss to coat.
- Step 6: Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover salad and dressing separately to prevent the greens from getting soggy.
- To reheat potstickers, a quick pan-fry will restore their crispy bottoms better than microwaving.
- For a complete meal, add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking potstickers; work in batches to ensure even browning and prevent sticking.
