- Canned sliced peaches, drained well: 2 (15 ounce) cans
- Cream cheese, softened: 8 ounces
- Sour cream: 1 cup
- Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Chopped pecans: 1/2 cup
- Shredded coconut: 1/4 cup
- Maraschino cherries, halved: 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Step 2: Gently fold in the drained sliced peaches, being careful not to break them up too much.
- Step 3: Add the chopped pecans and shredded coconut to the mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Step 4: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Step 5: Just before serving, stir in the halved maraschino cherries.
- Step 6: Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- Store leftover Millionaire Peach Salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but it's best enjoyed fresh.
- This salad is best served cold and isn't recommended for reheating, as the dairy components may separate.
