Delicious garlic butter lobster tails recipe: a culinary delight awaits! recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Lobster tails: 2 (6-8 oz each)
  • Unsalted butter: 1/2 cup (1 stick), melted
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
  • Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat your broiler and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heating element. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with foil.
  2. Step 2: Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the center of the lobster tail shells, from the top to the tail fin, without cutting through the meat. Gently separate the shell and lift the lobster meat, keeping it attached at the tail.
  3. Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Step 4: Place the lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring it gets into all the crevices.
  5. Step 5: Broil for 8-12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C). Watch carefully to prevent burning.

Notes

  • Store leftover lobster tails in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • For best results, gently reheat lobster in a 300°F oven with a splash of water or broth to prevent drying.
  • Serve these decadent lobster tails with a crisp green salad and crusty bread to soak up all that delicious garlic butter.
  • Don't overcrowd the baking sheet; broiling one or two lobster tails at a time ensures even cooking and beautiful browning.
