Delicious cheesy beef tortellini bake: a family favorite dinner recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (20 ounce) package frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the marinara sauce, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning into the skillet with the ground beef. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Step 4: Add the frozen tortellini to the sauce and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Step 5: Pour the tortellini mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tortellini is heated through. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For best reheating, cover with foil and bake at 350°F until warmed through to prevent the cheese from burning.
  • Serve with a side of steamed broccoli or a crisp garden salad to complete the meal.
  • Don't overcrowd the skillet when browning the beef; brown it in batches for a richer, more flavorful result.
