Delicious air fryer green beans recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Fresh green beans, 1 pound
  • Olive oil, 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Salt, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice, 1 tablespoon
  • Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons (optional)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Wash and trim the green beans. Cut off the ends of the green beans and discard.
  2. Step 2: In a bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Step 3: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Step 4: Place the green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding. You may need to cook in batches.
  5. Step 5: Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the green beans are tender-crisp and slightly browned.
  6. Step 6: Remove from the air fryer, drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (if using). Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftover green beans in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, air fry for 2-3 minutes at 350°F until warmed through, being careful not to overcook.
  • Serve these crispy green beans as a vibrant side dish to grilled chicken, steak, or fish.
  • For extra crispy beans, ensure they are completely dry after washing before tossing with oil and spices.
