Ingredients
- Cod fillets: 1 pound
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
- Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
- Dried parsley: 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels. This will help them crisp up in the air fryer.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and dried parsley.
- Step 4: Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of the cod fillets.
- Step 5: Place the cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overlapping.
- Step 6: Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets and your air fryer.
Notes
- Store leftover cooked cod in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- For best results, gently reheat the cod in the air fryer at 300°F (150°C) for a few minutes until warmed through, avoiding overcooking.
- Serve your air-fried cod with a side of roasted vegetables and a squeeze of fresh lemon for a complete and healthy meal.
- To prevent sticking, lightly spray your air fryer basket with cooking oil before adding the cod, even if it's non-stick.
