Ingredients
- Green Grapes: 37 individual grapes (approximately 1/2 cup)
- Water: For washing
- Optional: Lemon Juice: 1 teaspoon
- Optional: Granulated Sugar: 1 tablespoon
- Optional: Lime Zest: 1/4 teaspoon
- Optional: Flavored Gelatin Powder (e.g., grape, strawberry): 1 tablespoon
- Optional: Honey: 1 tablespoon
- Optional: Fresh Mint Leaves: 2-3 leaves, finely chopped
Instructions
- Step 1: Thoroughly wash the grapes under cool, running water to remove any dirt or residue. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Step 2: If using lemon juice, lightly toss the grapes with it to help prevent browning (optional).
- Step 3: If using sugar, lime zest, gelatin powder, or honey, place the grapes in a bowl and sprinkle or drizzle your chosen ingredient(s) evenly over them. Gently toss to coat. Ensure the honey is evenly distributed.
- Step 4: Arrange the grapes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
- Step 5: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until the grapes are completely frozen solid.
Notes
- Store frozen grapes in an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 2 weeks to prevent freezer burn.
- There's no reheating required; frozen grapes are best enjoyed straight from the freezer!
- Serve these icy treats as a refreshing palate cleanser between courses or as a fun, healthy dessert.
- For an extra burst of flavor, experiment with different flavored gelatin powders, like raspberry or blueberry!
